Firstly, I've learned the importance of using two cameras as this makes it so much easier in regards to continuity- instead of stopping, moving to a new angle and having the person say the line again, you can just position two of your group in two different places- so you get exactly the same shot at exactly the moment.
Something else camera related was that was very important was that we learnt the importance of different camera angles, if you look at our preliminary project, you'll see that it was all shot almost completely with a mid-shot, and now we have incorporated a variety of shots.
Also, having a script and a basic idea is very important- our preliminary was so short because we didn't really have any idea what we were doing, with a lot of time dedicated to planning when it came to the real thing- we managed to fashion a good narrative together by making sure scripts were being written as soon as possible and composing a storyboard once we settled on the scripts we wanted.
