Sorry, this is a bit late and I've been neglecting my blog, but here are some old film logs!

Today was our first real day of filming, and things changed dramatically from our storyboard (soon to be uploaded!), we were originally supposed to use a small office block/store room however it was being renovated that very day. After this, we sat down and tried to think about what we were to do next...and in the end we settled on the backstage area that me and James use for drama. It is very low lighted in there, which adds to the film noir effect, also there are lots of ladders and gantries for us to climb up to get some really interesting aerial shots, which give an omniscience common to film noir. We filmed the first scene where the 'shady guy' is desperately answering a phone call ( a la 'Momento :] ), we used long shots to distance the audience from him as he is somewhat of a questionable character, also we wanted to keep the intimacy between character and audience minimum as he won't be lasting long!
